The May 2009 Charleston Magazine edition, Obey your Senses, just hit the shelves on Friday, May 8th, and includes a fabulous feature of Chef, Iverson Brownell, and his Asian inspired menu designed to emulate the Japanese Theater or more specifically, the art of Dogugaeshi.
The article, written by Marrion Sullivan, illustrates how with the freshest of ingredients, Chef Iverson assembles a multi-layered pan-asian style menu that can be created with ingredients right here in the low country.
With the assistance of the talented mixologist, Boris Van Dyke from Icebox bar service, Iverson and Boris guide even the most flawless host and hostess through an Spoleto inspired cocktail hour.
